Woo hoo!!

My Cath Kidston catalogue finally came!! I agree with alot of you that the layout is lovely, it's just like looking (and reading!) through a magazine. On my list to get when i have some money are:
The stencil red first aid box, Paisley red button tin (i have wanted this for ages!), the long button necklace, White cotton plimsoles (i have some other make, but they are so uncomfortable, can anyone tell me if they have tried these?), Star red umbrella (reds going to be a big colour for me now that i've had my colours done!) and the rose white vest and short set.

And i have ordered my sewing machine!! When i have made some bits i will have my first giveaway. So watch this space!!

Here is my next installment of Photos from around the house:

The cake stand that belonged to my lovely Nan, i love it and use it all the time.

This is one of my favourite charity shop finds. I love the colour. It is from Italy. There are six glasses altogether.
These lovely cups were bought for me years ago by my Mum. They are called 'She loves me, she loves me not?' and 'Ponk!' I have so many mugs and often have a sort through, but i've never been able to get rid of these.

This is also from my Mum. Lily of the valley is my birth flower.

I love this bunny from my eldest son one Mothers day. He said he got it for me because it looked abit like the hares in 'Guess how much i love you' and he knew i loved that book. Very thoughtful! This radio in our bedroom was chosen by my husband, it's actually dark brown but looks black in the picture, not too bad a choice i think, seeing as he likes modern.

I don't have my CK catalogue yet, either : ( Hope it comes soon!!
Those Mabel Lucie Atwell mugs are beautiful, I have never seen any before! I'm sure you'll never want to give those away.
It's great to hear that you are getting a new sewing machine!! I look forward to seeing what you make.
That's a great cake stand you have there. I'm sure the cakes look scrummy on it, but with hubby & two little boys,I'm sure it soon empties!
