The weekend and a snowy picture

We had a lovely weekend. On Saturday we celebrated my husbands 8 year old cousins birthday by going bowling, i haven't been for a while but it was fun, although my husband always wins!! We had a lovely dinner at Frankie and Bennys, i like how they get you on your chair, turn down the lights and get the whole restaurant to sing Happy Birthday!!

We planned for a bike ride on Sunday, but it was so cold, we didn't think it fair on the little one. So we got in the car with a homemade lunch, and quickly called into Costa for hot chocolate and drove to the sea.

These photos are taken through the window, so they are not that clear.
We let the boys, steer the car around a very muddy carpark (no one else there of course).

So we headed to the car wash. The littlest normally cries, but his big brother looked after him so well, that it was his first tear free carwash.

When we got home the boys (that includes the hubby) played on the wii, and sat down to do the biggests homework while i made a roast, yum!! and a big banoffe pie, extra yum!!
I'll leave you with this snowy morning picture of the boys playhouse. I was a little annoyed as every other school seems to be closed, except ours. I got windchill walking there!! and very sore ears. I know i should have put a hat on, but i was convinced that it would be closed so we had to dash out at the last moment. Such a shame as all the other kids were playing in the snow as we were walking.

Thanks for the comments about my dollshouse below x

Also please spare a thought for my lovely Grandad who is in hospital, he has had another stroke and it's caused alot of damage to his brain, he is very confused. If that isn't enough, while he's been in there they have found out he has cancer of the blood. I am praying for you Grandad, i love you x

Glad too that you liked Snowlady :)

Apologies for getting all sentimental regarding Joshua, I think I am realising that for some people ie myself, loosing a baby makes you re asses ones life and I know God is caring for him, I only wish it was me

Somehow I missed this post yesterday. So sorry about your Grandad. I hope he's on the mend soon and happy days ahead. I've had lots of trouble with my dad being in and out of the hospital and a nursing home with heart trouble and diabetes. Take care.
