New Forest

We had such a lovely stay in the New Forest. They weather was typically British - sun, rain, even hail, thunder and lightning!!

The gorgeous garden at our holiday home:

The friendly local store right at the end of the lane:

Opposite the Post Office:

Half a mile walk took us to a pretty lake with plenty of horses and donkeys around:

Milford on sea:

Christchurch:

Bolderwood:

Can't you imagine fairies living here?

Beaulieu:

More to come soon

xx

Lovely things:

1) My eldest had 3 friends round to make up a dance - they are all a lovely bunch of boys. We prayed for the sun to come out. It had rained all day. but between the hours of 3.30 and 5.30 it was warm and sunny. The boys had a wonderful time dancing in the garden wearing their coolest gear. We had jumps, flips and allsorts!!! They came in for a bite to eat and it started raining. God was looking down on them, i am sure :)
2) I had a relaxing bath and a tipple or 2 of Disaronno.
3) I have watched the first half of Water for Elephants with the hubbie - it is gorgeous!! going to watch the rest tonight.

Such beautiful photos. I love Water for Elephants, a great film, although I did prefer the book. Enjoy x x x x
