It was a lovely day, and we had great weather.My lovely nan used to have a collection of deers/ or Bambis as we used to say. Most of them went when my Grandad moved to a retirement home after she died. Now that my Grandad has gone into a home my mum and uncle are having a sort out. I have now become the proud owner of this Bambi. I love it.
I went to a carboot yesterday and came back with this little lot for £2.10!!

A lovely easter tin, Some lovely books that i read as a child, and an Alfie book (i love Alfie!!). And 1 little button, you can just about see it at the bottom of the Alfie book.
I also picked up this pretty glass bottle for 50p. Kirstie inspired me with her stained glass in her bathroom!!
I also picked up something lovely for A Thrifty Mrs for our freestyle swap. I've had to pack it away so i don't keep it for myself!!

I keep meaning to take the children to Bristol Zoo but the last time I went it wasn't very good.

The zoo looks fab. I'm only in Kent so may have to seriously consider there for a day out with my daughter (and husband!)
i love penguins! we made a trip to marwell zoo over easter & had a great time! thanks for your comments about my little shoes, the green fabric is japanese & was from http://www.kitty-craft.com/ but don't think that it's there anymore? i know http://www.fabricrehab.co.uk/index.php sometimes have similar fabric so they are worth checking (but they do seem a little more expensive!) hope that helps
Great photos, I particularly like the crocodile (or is he an alligator?). I was sorting out my daughter's books to give away yesterday but all the Alfie ones went back into a box, I have so many happy memories of reading them to her...many years ago.
