More New Forest

These are my instagram piccies - there are a lot!!! they are not all in order.

We had lunch and played guess who at a lovely little pub:

Lymington is a pretty town:

Can't beat a chocolate cornflake cake - i favour mixing milk and dark chocolate together and make sure there is alot of chocolate (hate it when you eat one thats hardly got any on)

Milford on sea:

Christchurch:

Little duckie in our bedroom:

We decorated our holiday home with paper chains:

The boys amused themselves whilst me and the hubbie had lie ins - listening to music and playing games on the eldests ipod and using jenga as dominios:

I like to use cornflakes over rice krispies:

I took a couple of my favourite hot chocolate sticks with me:

Veggie breakfast:

I was so pleased our garden was so pretty. It ment for a lovely Easter egg hunt:

I had bought the boys some gifts from Charity shops and in the sale at Hawkins bizarre to add to the hunt:

The dinosaurs and soldiers that were at the house provided a 'don't go this way' route!!!

Well, i can't not have a cream tea on holiday, can i?

My soppy hubbie made me a ring out of his cadbury caramel egg wrapper - i wore it all day!!!

Dreaming in Lyndhurst:

I much prefer this:

My eldest is fanatical about cars. Beaulieu has the most wonderful transport museum and this year it also has a James Bond and Top gear exhibition:

Pretty cobbled street at Lymington: While the boys took forever trying to catch a crab (the youngest got one in the end) I took myself off to the charity shops - i bought a vintage fisher price fire engine for the little one and some lovely books.

It's the little things - i love to see the old shop signs on the side of buildings:

Beautiful flowers by the driveway - they cheered my soul everytime we arrived home!Anyone know what this is? i presume its a type of rose?

Opposite our lane - we played football and watched the ponies:

Beautiful Beaulieu Abbey ruins:

 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!!

We made a picnic and had it in the car as it poured down!! We decided it was probably best anyway as there were lots of hungry horses and donkeys about!!

The rain stopped so we headed to a farm:

We went into Beaulieu village to buy chocolates and had a wander round a free sensory garden:

Dinner at The Ship Inn:

Back to Christchurch for a boat trip:

The horses rule the road!

A beautiful day at Fordingbridge:

The boys fed the fish and i read the paper at a gorgeous riverside pub:

On our way back home we stopped of to see family friends and then went to Eds easy diner for milkshakes/ veggie burgers and atomic fries:

xx

Todays lovely things:

1) A lovely lunch with my mum and a friend.
2) Cuddles with the cutest 12 week old.
3) Charity bargains!!!!

What a wonderful time away you had. Love the idea of using those little yellow chicks in your egg hunt, may have to borrow that one for next year. Lymington is so pretty isn't it. I've been there in Nov for Christmas shopping.

Lovely pictures - having just downloaded Instagram for my Android I am loving it :)

Bealieu is fab isn't it - we spent a day there a few years ago and the boys loved it.

BTW excellent use of little green soldiers :)
