Bits and bobs

I couldn't resist this little painted house at the carboot on Saturday (My first visit to a carboot sale this year!! due to weather and my broken foot i hadn't been. I have alot of making up to do over the next few weeks me thinks!)

I can never resist Flower Fairy books! i already have a couple of these ones. But i got the set at a good price and they are in excellent condition.

I got this fab car for my eldest son at only £2. Its quite a big car, and is really lovely. My son was thrilled and hasn't stopped playing with it.

I ordered this online. I loved it!! its to warn all the males in my family!! hee hee.

My lovely hubbie put my printer trays up in the lounge this weekend. I am going to keep them unpainted until my room is decorated and then decide if i'll paint them or not. As you can see i have already found some bits to put in them. Some of the things are very meaningful - like a good luck key that my late nan and Grandad gave me when i was doing my GCSE's and a pink stone heart that my husband bought me the day we got engaged 12 years ago.

On Sunday we took a trip into Southend - i have never noticed this little pond there before.

I love looking at some of the houses there (I really wish i had taken my good camera)

We went for breakfast at Sands.

And then headed to the Arcades.

What did you get up to this weekend?

xx

Thanks so much for visiting my blog; it was good to know I wasn't writing to myself. Southend's great for a day out isn't it, and I love those houses too, I've got several photos of them myself.
Hope you manage to squeeze in a few boot sales before the season ends.
