a bit of this and that:

This is a bit of a mixed bag kinda post.
Firstly, look at the Sunflower!!! we did'nt kill it, woo hoo!!
We went to another Little Havens Super car charity day last weekend. This time it was on an actual track- arghhhh!! i arrived to see cars going round at 150mph. I felt quite sick, how could i let my little 7 year old boy go in one?!?! well, i did and he loved it!!
They also had ago of some quad bikes - well, the littlest just sat on one!!

I took myself to my first dolls house fair in years and came home with these lovelies.

oooh - i have to show you this great freebie that will be in next months Easy Living magazine. Now, i can't imagine the quality will be that great, but a good freebie anyway. I'll remind you in October.
Also in Easy Living i spotted this gorgeous little rustic Corsican farmhouse - Villa Olivella - how cute!
Erm - the answer would be...yes....
A quick and easy recipe for you:
I wonder if i can manage to look like this, this Autumn??!!

Can't wait to see this film next week with my Mum.
Cute as .......cake
I have this book.... Junior has a full size picture of it this month.

My lovely hubby surprised me on Monday by coming home early with these (the same flowers in my wedding bouquet) and arranged for us to go to My Kitchen last night - we also felt like teens again with a game of bowling.
Saw this film on Wednesday with my Mum. I loved it!!! The clothes worn by Summer are gorgeous too! i want her wardrobe!!
A carboot purchase - 50p for all three!! I was very happy.
My youngests favourite birthday toys: We've been doing lots of 'cooking'. He also got Early Learning Centres food cutting range and microwave which have been played with non stop.
Yummy English local apples - so pretty.

Now, i have decided to put this article on my blog because i hope it may help some people. I read it whilst on holiday and it is the first thing i have ever read about willpower that has actually stuck in my head (well, for the last 4 weeks anyway). I gave it to my friend too, and now i'm giving it to you - so if you have a problem with willpower - e.g with food (in my case) then click on each pic and have a read.

I found my magnets!!!! they were in the lining of my holiday bag!! They are now safe on my fridge.
Theres a great shop near where i live that sells out of date magazines - 3 for £2.50. I was really chuffed to get Augusts Country Living as i missed that one.
One of my favourite places to browse and have lunch is Barleylands - a farm, farmers market, cafe and craftshop centre. Alot of the craft places have closed down, but theres still some nice ones there. I got 19 good size scraps of fabric for 70p!!
At Barleylands i saw a lovely little fabric star - so in town yesterday i bought this fabric (virtually the same) £3.00 per metre and am going to make one for myself.
I adore Humphreys Corner. Now my youngest is 2 he is in the last age range of clothes, so i treated myself -ahem-i mean him to these lovelies. I also have the cutest pj's on order.

Have a good weekend ladies. We are off to Barleylands again tommorrow for their annual country show and on Sunday i'm off to see my new baby nephew who was born this morning!!! Can't wait for a cuddle!!

Junior magazine is worth buying for the pictures alone. This is one mag that really does last me the month, I devour it a little bit at a time!
I can't wait to see Julie and Julia, it looks great. I've seen 55 days of summer advertised at our local cinema but haven't got a clue what it's about.
Off to read your will power article now!
Have a great weekend
((hugs))

sounds like a great day out, bet the boys loved it - I know mine would adore a day like that. Isn't Junior Magazine wonderful - lovely eye candy and really good articles too. Always have to chuckle at the clothes though, or am I the only mother who wouldn't ever put a one year old in a £300 dress that she'll outgrow within weeks (or throw something indelibly staining on within minutes more like!)x

I love those dollhouse treasures. Is that towel actually embroidered? Amazing! I love Humphrey too. We have a couple of books about him but no clothes sadly.

Hi, thanks for your message on my blog. I seem to be getting lots of new commenters at the moment. I will definitely be reading that will power article. Something I'm not always very good with. I would love to see Julie and Julia too. Looks great. I heard 500 days of Summer being discussed on the radio the other day and they were giving it a really bad review but it was two men. Good to hear you enjoyed it. Hope you have a great weekend. Fiona
