Suffolk

Firstly i'd like to start this post with a thank you to Sal for my lovely giveaway prize. It's great Sal and thanks for the extra fabric pieces. Now, get ready for lots of pictures!! Me and my hubby have been away for a long romantic weekend to the most beautiful little cottage in Suffolk. I actually saw this cottage on this blog. I loved it so much i had to find it and go there myself!

It really is the most idyllic cottage. I loved the dining room the best. We were greeted to afternoon tea.

It would be lovely to take the children another time, as it really caters for them

The bed was huge and so cosy.

They provided a welcome breakfast basket.
A tiny but lovely kitchen.

Crumpets and cakes!!

I've never been a fan of Grandfather clocks (i find them a bit creepy) but this one is so pretty.

Isn't it so lovely?

We went for some lovely walks.

After a lovely dinner in Aldeburgh we arrived back, lit the fire, got in our pj's and dressing gowns and watched Attonement. We had cooked breakfasts each morning while listening to jazz, bliss!!
Lovely heart shaped pebbles we found on the beach.

I love this throw on the bed, it's from Dunelm mill.

Beach huts in Southwold.

We had lovely weather all weekend. In southwold we sat on the beach wall with hot drinks and cakes and just watched the world go by.

A lovely ruined church in Cove-hithe.

Our last morning and the daffodils came out.

What a cute little cottage, the main bedroom looks so cosy and I love the idea of a breakfast basket. Me and hubby are looking for a cottage for a week away end of sept, but it has to be dog friendly. That ones adorable though. xxxx

That cottage is just absolutely gorgeous! You must have felt so cosy and at home. I thought the bedspread was antique! Love the toys on display and the range. Bet it was a magical weekend.
