I enjoyed walking my son to school today so much.
It was sunny and warm, no need for coats.
I could hear children laughing and chattering and lawn mowers in the distance (one of my favourite spring/summer sounds)
And such a beautiful scent of cut grass and flowers i could smell.
Everyone is so more cheerful on days like this, greeting with smiles and hellos as we walk past.
I have washing on the line and the playroom is filled with sunlight.
How lovely!
While i blog, i am eating the most delicious cake in the world!! Caramel shortbread that my hubby bought me yesterday to have today from Costas.

It is a lovely day today, feels very springlike to me :) I love caramel shortbread, I would love to make some but it looks a bit of a fiddle to me! X
It's a great day here today too, warm and sunny. The washing is on the line, great and I'm off to make a chocolate cake.
Take care.

What beautiful photographs and a happy post :)
We have the same little wicker chair here too though is in need of some TLC as the seat keeps coming out, I do love it
The sun certainly lifts the spirits

Oh my god, I think I have that exact same plate with the roses on! (it belonged to my Nana, I have a cup and saucer too!)- and caramel shortcake too - love it! Wasn't it just a gorgeous day? So lovely to go out without all the layers on!:)
I once made caramel shortbread yeasrs and years ago and don't think I have eaten any since, though it is delicious. Yes it has been a most beautiful day today. Let's hope this weather lasts.

A lovely cheerful post! I love caramel shortbread too but then, who doesn't I wonder!!
Another lovely day today to keeps the spirits raised! You're so lucky to have things from your childhood, my parensts went backrupt in the '80's and a lot of it when to auction sadly. Still happy days now thank goodness with love Salx

What did I tell you about those sunny days?!! It has been so lovely to linger outside hasn't it. Love the dolly pushchair!
Thanks for your message about my little fabric hearts and I know what you mean about the 'sewed up heart' - I did exactly the same thing!! Thought I'd done a really good job on the sewing and then realised I couldn't fill it or turn it the right way out. Duh!
I loved your post about the Daffodils - makes me determined to dig out my flower fairies book when I get home. And as you say doesn't the lovely weather make a difference :-)
Love Charlotte
