Garden party

I accepted this lovely invitation from Floss.

The idea is that, on the weekend of 20th-21st June, all the 'guests' who've accepted the invitation do a post on their blog, with lots of lovely garden party images.

Happy Birthday Floss!!

Right what to wear?
This pretty dress i think.

And some gorgeous Joules pumps (abit much??. No, i like colour!)

Now, my inspiration for my garden party comes from my sons drawing.

How to get there??
Cross the fields. Be sure to take a carrot or some mints with you to feed the horses on the way.
Now enter through the gate.

Please, take a seat and make yourselves at home.

Let me poor you a cup of tea. Please take a while to smell the roses.

Scones anyone? Or maybe i can interest you in a cake?
Theres plenty of fresh strawberries that i picked this morning. Mmmmm and cream and sugar. Or maybe you'd prefer chocolate?
Theres plenty to do today:

Swing through the trees,
Fly a kite,

Dance,

Or just sit, relax and chat with good friends.

Please stay as long as you like, i'm sure there will be a beautiful sunset and if it gets chilly, make your way indoors..........
Thank you for joining Floss and i.

Do come again.
xx

Yoohoo, how lovely to meet another one of Floss's friends. Good to see you are having a great time. Oh, and I wouldn't say no to your offer of a bit of cake. We can always work off the calories afterwards, running around with the kites.

Nice to "meet" you at Floss' Garden Party.
You'll have to teach me how to dance and fly the kite. Oh, I have 2 left feet, and I've never flown a kite before!

At last I have (just this moment!) started catching up on blogs again and have come to yours first - and once again something in your wardrobe has caught my eye!! I want your wardrobe!! WHERE is that pretty dress from? I love it!

It reminds me of a brand of children's clothes I used to stock in the shop called Eternal Creation - beautiful fairtrade things. It was mainly childrenswear but they did a few ladies dresses in the prettiest prints and softest cotton. Lovely.

Loved the garden party thing!!

Lots of love
Charlotte

ps thanks for lovely comments on the new www.cottontailsbaby.co.uk website - it has been such a journey and I am really pleased and proud of it. Glad you like the gallery. If you happen to have any Maileg or Moulin Roty toys I'd love to add your pictures!! xx
