We had a rather lovely day out at The Vintage and Classic car show held at the Beautiful Hedingham castle.
It was a lovely sunny day, so we spent a lot of time sitting on the grass, sipping Pimms and listening to the Jazz band.

Lovely things:
1) Watching Whitney - reminds me of me and my hubbie.
2) Learning to crochet.
3) Dipping luxury chocolate chip shortbread into tea

I have just been giving a crochet mag and dvd from my school mummy friend, great minds think a like ;0)x
Sounds like a fun day out. Such a stunning castle and grounds. I like the vintage cars, I think my favourite one is the vintage blue car in the third photo :) (as you can see I am not up on the actual car names though..haha :P).
I would defiantly be paying that milkshake van a visit, just couldn't resist!
Enjoy the yummy shortbread cookies and the cups of tea (hope the crochet is going well).

Lovely pictures, Lissy. Hubby and Father in law would go bonkers over the vintage cars. They all look amazing!

Hedingham is a great place to visit - if you ever get the chance go when they have the jousting. We took our boys many years ago and they loved it - little son even got Knighted!!
It looks like you had a great day! And what great photos!!!
How are you learning to crochet? I've just crocheted a few granny squares and little, simple toys. Can you recommend any good beginner projects/books???
Happy Friday!

Visually refreshing! Vintage cars + scenic background = perfect vintage car show! Looking at the photoset, I can already feel the classic, breezy ambience. I love the perfect spot of that car in the first photo! =)
Scenic, indeed! Hosting a vintage car show around a Victorian castle just makes a perfect sense. The setting, including the green landscape, the big castle, and the September sun definitely played a great role in distributing the vintage ambience around the place. :’>
