The following is food for thought:

The most destructve habit is worry,
The greatest joy is giving,
The greatest loss is that of self respect,
The most satisfying work is helping others.
The greatest boost we can get is encouragement,
The greatest problem to overcome is fear.
The most powerful force in life is love,
The greatest soother and comforter is prayer.
The worst thing to be without is hope,
The dealiest weapon is a sharp tongue,
The two most powerful words are 'I can'.
Our greatest asset is faith,
The most beautiful attire is a smile.
The most apprecited word is 'Thanks.
The most contagious spirit is enthusiasm.
To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world.

Thank you for posting this, it is really thought provoking. For me the line about enthusiasm is so significant, as I feel that with a positive outlook and zest for life we can have such a powerfully good impact on people we come into contact with.
I could go on..... I won't, but I will link to this post over on my second blog: I choose Yellow!
Happy days to you

Agree totally.....but the one about the smile, this morning I went to get my passport renewed! had the photos taken in the booth in the post office...took them with forms to a lady behind the counter...no good she said as I was smiling...ok I get some more with my miserable face on then. Which I did. Returned to lady and she said these will probably come back as you have a Smirk in your face! how rude I said...smirk...how very rude. To which she replied, I am not meaning to be rude! some folks are horrible. I may copy this off and take her in a framed one.
