A bit of this, and a bit of that

Firstly, i'd like to thank the ladies on my previous post for your kind words. I hope you'll be pleased to hear that my boy is back to his normal self.
We went to Tunbridge Wells to see The Milkshake show, My First Concert. It was the littlests first show, and he loved it - he was up dancing and clapping and shouting 'Fifi!' 'Peppa!' 'Noddy!'
I called into the Cath Kidston there, as i had tried to get this bag on the website - but it wasn't available. But i managed to get it - so i'm very happy :)
I also got the gorgeous button tin -that has been on my wishlist for ages!

I have been busy this week, making some bits on the sewing machine for The seaside swap, my Mums birthday, my boys and myself - i'm definately improving!!!
My seaside bits are all ready to wrap up now - i've enjoyed having alot of time for this one.
Check out the site on this bag where i got a couple of bits for the swap. The site only shows a few bits but I love this treasure trove shop!!
My latest read is this - £1 from poundland!!!!!
It's quite good actually. You can just see the lovely bookmark that i got from Thrify Mrs.
I love all the bits i have from you bloggers. Like the lovely brooch from Contented which at the moment is on my tink cushion in my workroom.
I saw this on someones blog - i can't remember who now (it may have been Beckimarie?)
I popped over to Amazon and got it - it's great fun. I like going over to Flickr and having a look at what others have done with theirs.

My eldest loves Mr Maker on t.v. He was making wiggly worms on straws - my boy has made loads of them and given them to friends. He thought it wolud be a nice idea to make his teacher this butterfly one to go with her Thank you teacher presents.
I love the kids bringing home pictures- but some of the bigger things get on my nerves!!!!! Where do they all go?????

My eldest was so dissapointed to have missed out on his end of term Mr men party, so we held our own today. We had hats and t.shirts. Puzzles......

And a picnic sheet with lots of party food (eaten before the pic was taken. Isn't it funny how all the rubbish foods go, but the rolls are left!!!)- infact i am on a slight sugar high at the moment!!!

Enjoy your week
xx

Wreck this journal is great isn't it? I also love looking at what others have done. I'm thinking of getting Jess one and I saw somewhere (probably Amazon) you can get a similar type thing for the younger kids.
Momzillas is a great book, read it a while ago. I'm reading Sophie Kinsellas new one at the moment (Twenties girl) which seems quite good so far.
Off to check out your site for the seaside swap now.
Have a great week
((hugs))

Loving the new bag. Its lovely that your DS is so creative and wanted to make his teacher something. I know what you mean about them bringing stuff home. I usually put works of art on the fridge but there is only so much space. Lala gets so upset! But you cant keep it all forever. Its very difficult. I be honest my heart sinks when she comes out with a cardboard box creation. Oh now I sound horrible.

Lovely party you had there. Hope you all have a great week.

Just found your blog via Notes from my Days and I'm enjoying having a read. I really sympathise with your anxiety - I've had a few spells myself over the years and it can be crippling so well done on your handling of the swine flu issue. So glad to hear that your little boy is getting better. I know how worried you must be as I have a 5 week old baby and worry everytime I take him into nursery to pick up my 3 year old.
