My weekend.......

I had a good weekend, it started off with the hubby going fishing....yes he is mad, it was freezing!! Me and the boys had a pajama morning and ate lots of sweets.

When the hubby came home he went out with my eldest on the bikes, yes i know i should have gone too, but the littlest was napping so i lazed about reading some mags, but managed to get some energy to go out for tapas with my dad and his wife.

Sunday was another lazy morning, my littlest managed to amuse himself, as you can see:

While i wrapped up some pressies, before we went and had tea and cakes with my Grandad and then dinner with my mum.

Hope you all have a lovely week. I should be buying a sewing machine this week, yeh!! i may need some help off you all, as i haven't used one for 10 years, but i'm hoping it will save my fingers........i'm not very good at sewing by hand!! x

Ooh a sewing machine! How exciting! Which type are you going for? I got mine for Xmas and I must admit I get quite nervous using it! It is so much faster though X Gem

P.S Your wrapped present looks gorgeous!

I have just got the little red sewing machine from John Lewis, its small but it has 10 stitches, and it does sew quite fast! I think it was £49, which is quite cheap compared to some of the really fancy ones xx

Your weekend sounds fab and the gift looks so pretty! Good luck choosing a sewing machine, I am useless with them. I do have one - though my Mum has got it at the moment as she's really good with them and hers is broken - but I've never used it!

Your pyjama party sounds fun :)

I too am after a decent sewing machine, the one i have is a teeny weeny one only cost £10 but would really love the red JL one, though there has been such high demand for it and it has sold out everywhere, you never know they may bring a pink one out, Ohooo that would be nice :)

Lovely to meet you

I've got an Elna. I love it. I bought it with some college graduation money about...well quite a while ago. It was rather pricey at around $800 if I remember correctly. Are Elna's sold in the UK? Good luck picking one. I would never pay that for one now. It will probably be the only one I'll ever need though.
