Our long weekend away

For our 7th Wedding Anniversary (Wool) in January i decided to take my hubbie on a romantic long weekend away.
Every year we buy/make each other a gift to do with the Anniversary theme. This year it was Wool. I managed to find a beautiful cottage in Suffolk called Wool Cottage.

This weekend we took our trip and it was lovely.

The Beautiful Lavenham Church - one of the best UK churches i have seen:

Lie ins and cooked breakfasts - bliss!

We visited the pretty towns of Long Melford/ Clare (Both great for antique shops) and Cavendish - And Bury St Edmunds (below) Which had the most Beautiful Gardens:

We enjoyed afternoon tea at Harriets in Bury St Edmunds:

We would certainly recommend the gorgeous Wool Cottage and also The Swan at Lavenham for a romantic dinner and Atlantic Health Spa for a massage and use of their pool and spa.

Looks like you had a lovely time in my home county.

The abbey gardens in Bury St Edmunds are gorgeous - even more so at the moment with all the spring flowers.
