Oh what a lovely time we had!

I am not going to do a Notebook Monday post this week as i have been on holiday, so have decided to tell you about that instead.

We went with family to a wedding in Scotland.
On the way, me, the hubbie and the 2 little boys stopped at The Lakes to break up the journey.

We stayed at the lovely Angel Inn

We had just enough time to visit The Beatrix Potter Museum and...

...Take a boat trip on Lake Windermere to the Motor Museum.

We had a whole week in Scotland. The wedding was held in St.Andrews.
We stayed in Creich.

These are the views from our bedroom window:

The house was lovely and large....to accommodate the 9 of us, and more for entertaining!!
Right next to the house are the ruins of Creich Castle.

Here is the littlest.....he looked so lovely in his little suit....even if he did manage to get grass stains on his knees before the ceremony even began!

The weather was wonderful!! We even managed a day on the beach!

On our journey home i was lucky enough to have a meet up with two lovely bloggy ladies and their families.

Now back home...it all went far too quick.

This week, i need to get back into the routine of mummy/wifey jobs, whilst leaving time to catch up with blogs of course ;) and spend some time adding items to the shop.

Eurgh!!! I almost forgot ...... the washing, unpacking, .................!!!

xx

I'm sooo jealous you went to the Beatrix Potter museum - I now have an urge to watch Mrs Potter.

Your son getting grass stains made me laugh as it reminded my off my brother when he was little prior to a family wedding. He threw absolute trantrums being put in to a shirt and trousers with "proper shoes" but finally gave in.... then slide down the banisters at home getting stains on the trousers.... in all the pictures he's standing there looking like he's holding his crotch to cover the stains!
