Feeling hot, hot, hot

Phew, its been a scorcher hasn't it? Nice to cool down a bit today.

Number: around about 7:30/8am i turn on the radio to listen to Dave Berry and Lisa Snowden and then at 10 i switch over to Radio 1 for the rest of the day:

•  The littlest waking up with bad bed hair on school photo day.
• Sorting out the garden for summer.
• Reading Ideal home magazine while the boys are kept busy with a friend over.
• Buying Jubilee things.
• Watching one of my favourite Friends episodes.
• Going up to London to see the Getty Images Marilyn Monroe exhibition.
• Having a little shop around Carnaby Street and Oxford Street.
• Being far too hot - i hate this weather!!!!! well i hate walking around in full sun.
• Making kneed school trousers into shorts.
• Making badges for an upcoming fair.
• Eating fajitas in the garden.
• Buying plants and flowers for the house and garden.
• Not being able to resist Audrey Hepburn notebooks from Sainsburys.
• Making chocolate cupcakes.
• Cleaning the house from top to bottom.
• Making my husband a birthday cake.
• Hubbies birthday.
• BBQ with family.
• Southend airshow.
• Getting bitten 19 times by horrible mozzies!!!!
• Getting far too tipsy on Pimms and shots.

Todays lovely things:

1) Watching an episode of Friends with my eldest - he is home this morning because he goes on a camping trip later today.

2) Wearing my new favourite vest top.

3) The little ones knees in summer school shorts.

Jubilee swaps

The Krafty Cupcake was my Jubilee swap partner. Here are all the lovely things that this lovely, thoughful and generous lady sent me:

 Lovely handmade card, Jubilee lamb, ribbons and fabric, 2 badges, a keyring, coaster, ballons, tissues, serviettes, buttons, cupcakes cases and toppers, tea towel, scarf, chocolates and lollies, a door wreath and knitted bunting instructions:

Here is what i sent:

 Two handmade lavender drawer sachets and a tea towel. Tape, cupcake cases and toppers, chocolate, sweets and biscuits, a sandcastle bath fizz, notebook, pencil, magnet, socks, postacrds, buttons, lipbalm and nailfile:
