Bits and bobs

Hello all, are you having a good week?

I thought i'd show you some recent purchases:

A lovely notepad with mirror and pencil inside bought for me by my lovely other half and a bar of the most gorgeous smelling soap as recommended by Alison from Brocantehome.

Look at this yummy pie...leftovers from my In Laws.
Filo pastry, onion, spinach and feta...simples!

Look at this lovely lot:
Two charity shop reads, and one Afternoon tea and two old childrens charity books ready to go to my sale on Saturday.
Some gorgeous charity christmas cards from the library, lovely painted by mouth or foot christmas tags that i found for 10p, christmas yankee candles, pretty thimbles and a new magnetic pad for the kitchen.

And here is what cheered me up today!!
My advent swap from Rebecca at Purple sparkle crafts.
I am delighted with the bits that were unwrapped and am so excited about opening one a day leading up to Christmas.
Look at the gorgeous To LissyLou tags!!
I'll show you everything when i've opened them all xxxx

Wow look at those presents! Becky has gone to lots of trouble with those. Isn't she lovely! I'm glad to see that people are receiving their parcels. Can't wait to find out what's in them. xx

Ooh, little bit of shopping envy. One of my favourite things after a shopping splurge is popping the kettle on and then spreading my purchases out on the table and going through them all.

Can't imagine how much thought goes into all these Advent swaps. Will you be blogging about each day's gift?

oooh, wow, what lovely things. Those Advent parcels look fab, how lovely to have a little treat each morning during this hectic month. Looking forward to seeing what is inside them all.

And that pie looks absolutely delicious - am now deciding whether I can face going out in the cold to get the ingredients to make something similar for our dinner, I really fancy it, but it is very cold too....
