Two special days

I wasn't going to blog today as i had a busy day planned. But i've come down with some kind of sickness bug and am not feeling very well :(
So i'm resting instead.
Our weekend was lovely. It was my son's christening. Do you like my dress?
I was so proud of my eldest, he did really well. He looked proud of himself.
We kept it a small affair, but had a little party in the hall after. The boys got some lovely cards and gifts and alot of money!
I love these little robot keyrings.
And this lovely moneybox.

Yesterday we went to the V&A childhood museum in Bethnal Green. They had an Exhibition there.
We got our books signed by the illustrator - Quentin Blake.
We watched him draw some pictures while we were queuing, he left them incomplete for the children to finish. As we were very near the front of the queue, my eldest got to finish off the tail, and have a picture with him.
I can't believe i forgot my camera, so all the pictures at the museum are from my mobile.

I hope you all had a nice weekend.
I'm going to get myself some water and catch up with your blogs.
xx

What a lovely post, Hugs for you

Sounds like a wonderful christening, I was very emotional at DSs, he wore alittle cream romper suit, silk bib, little socks with silk ribbons and pretty silk shoes. John Lewis saw me coming ;)

Was a lovely day, we had a little party like you in the local village hall and hired a bouncy castle for the children to play on.

It sounds like you all had a great weekend. Getting your children christened is a lovely event. We had our daughter christened at our wedding, which was also her 1st birthday, so the day meant a lot to everyone. Hope you feel better soon and that the bugs go away as quickly as they came :O)

Glad to hear the christening went well. Your dress is very pretty and the boys did well for gifts. I wish I could take the smalls to exhibitions like that but they never seem to have them this far up in the world.
