Half term activities

So far we have had a busy half term. I thought i would share a couple of days with you. On Monday we went to Layer Marney Tower. I have blogged about this place before here. Infact this is one of the little lambs that is now alot bigger.
The littlest learnt the word 'chicken'!

These two remind me of the goats in 'Heidi' that i'm reading at the moment.

It was a special traditional village fete day.
The eldest took part in some races.

It was a beautiful day, unlike today which was a bit grey and grizzly.
We still had a nice day though at Hyde Hall for their animal day.

Enjoy the rest of your week. We are off on a charity walk with the boys tommorrow and i'm taking my eldest to see 'The tiger who came to tea' in Southend.

Sounds like you are having a lovely half term. I am having a quiet one as the children I look after (I am a childminder) are with their parents this week. It's nice to have some peace and quiet but I do miss them.

That is an amazing day!! Those geese have the whitest feathers, I have never seen such a beautiful BIG bird!!

We mostly have Canadian geese from the north flying in!

Chicken is a big word for such a little one. :-) The day looks like it was fun. I love the Heidi story not only because it is my namesake but a wonderful story.
