Exciting news!!!

My lovely bloggers - I have some very exciting news!! I am moving into a new home next Friday!!!!

I haven't mentioned anything until now as not to tempt fate. Today we exchanged and we move in one week - yep, thats one week!! I have literally just started packing. I have a feeling its going to be a busy one.

I have a couple of posts to go on my other blog next week, but not sure if i'll be back here until after the move. I'll see how it goes.

So as i walk round my lovely home, i have good memories (and some bad). I will miss this, our 3rd home together. But i am so looking forward to moving into our fourth, especially as it is a Victorian double fronted detached (Just what i have always dreamed of). Ooooooo just saying that is so exciting!!!! I can't wait to get in and start making it my dream home.

To the ladies who already have my address: If you would like my new one, please email me at poppyanddaisys@gmail.com and i will let you have it once i've moved in.

Have a lovely week ladies (and gents if your there)

Giveaway time!!!!!! Not 1 but 2 :)

I have not one, but two giveaways for you.
The first is a copy of A year of mornings:

''... these are vignettes of simple everyday things: a cup of coffee, soft-boiled eggs, rain boots kicked off at the front door, the stem of a flower, many crumpled napkins, many spoons. Though the two women were 3,191 miles apart the images are complementary in their color and composition more often than not. Sometimes startlingly so. The blog, and the book that followed after a year’s worth of images (and 3,000 visitors a day from Australia to Iceland), capture the rhythms of everyday life, often surprising the viewer by the sheer beauty of the most quotidian element. That each woman paused to record the curve of a daughter’s ear, a bowl of cereal or a shadow cast across the floor before sitting down in front of a computer is an act that carries with it the most clichéd, yet essential, of all messages: stop and smell the roses (and the coffee, the toast, the morning air). We’re living in difficult times, and it seems it’s exactly these tiny details and fleeting moments that can offer us the most solace and even joy.'' —Allison Arieff, The New York Times

The second is a copy of The Happiness Project. I am a huge fan of this book.

“Happiness is contagious. And so is The Happiness Project. Once you’ve read Gretchen Rubin’s tale of a year searching for satisfaction, you’ll want to start your own happiness project and get your friends and family to join you. This is the rare book that will make you both smile and think—often on the same page.”
Daniel H. Pink, A Whole New Mind

So, would you like to win a copy?
Of course you would!

Here are the rules:

1. Anyone can enter, just make sure you leave a comment on this post letting me know which book you would prefer.

2. If you link to this giveaway i will give you an extra chance (let me know if you do this)

3. If you follow this blog you will also get an extra chance.

4. And lastly you will get another chance to win if you follow my other blog - A year of 30.

Good luck!!

I will pick a winner on Thursday 9th June.
