I love a bit of jazz...this is one of my faves-
Kind of blue- Miles Davis

Camembert fondue:

Press a garlic clove and a couple of teaspoons of white wine in the cheese. Dampen the box it comes in a place in the oven/grill/or bbq until it begins to bubble (about 15 mins)
serve with crusty bread.

This site is great for kids, lots of colouring pages and art activites.

Love this:

Dear Lord,

So far today, i'm doing alright.
I have not gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy, grump, nasty, selfish or self indulgent.
I have not whined, complained, cursed or eaten any chocolate.
I have charged nothing on my credit card.

But i will be getting out of bed in a minute, and i think i will really need your help then.

I have been been asking for these teatowels for birthday and christmas for years - hint hint!!

Also aren't these glasses gorgeous?

What a fab site!!(Also stocks Lovely Lovely)

Have a good week!!

Notebook Monday

Happy Sunny Monday!!!

This week my notes come from my newest notebook.

-Book:

How to be a hepburn in a Hilton world

-Quote:

'I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck - Emma Goldman

Lovely ideas for the home:

-Add a drop of oil essence into your hoover filter.
-Serve bread in a basket with a lovely teatowel over to keep it warm
-Keep brooches in a pretty bowl
-Store glitter in beautiful glass pepper pots or other condiment pots with lids.....so pretty!
-Dangle pretty necklaces from door handles, ornaments and picture frames
-Cover ugly books in pretty paper.

-Make a shop bought crumble your own:

Serve a rhubarb crumble with a little icing sugar sprinkled over the top with a lovely dollop of thick cream.

-Feel good friends

This is a lovely little site where you can buy products to help children feel good about themselves. I like the look of the posters and the feel good cards.

This week is National Transplant week!!
Are you on the donor list?
It only takes a couple of minutes to register online.
