A bit of this, a bit of that

I saw this bag in Store twenty one yesterday for £10.
Doesn't it scream Cath K to you??

I didn't get it because i'm not to keen on chain handles (They always get caught in my hair!)
But thought i'd share it with you.

Here are some pics i took last week:

I had a little chill time, watching Dear John, drinking hot choccie and eating the most scrumptious shortbread from Fortnum and Mason.

I recieved this lovely package from Its the little things - her products are really lovely like this gorgeous bookmark and beautiful brooches made from vintage dominoes.

Ever since we have been back from Disney world my boys have insisted on have Mickey mouse shaped ketchup - cute though!!

The best homework my eldest boy has ever been given - chocolate fridge cake!!

A lovely purchase i made last week - A 1950's puzzle in such fantastic condition - i'm keeping it for a little while as my youngest is really enjoying it - but then it will be going in my shop.

Right - i'm off to have a little look round blogland - i'm sitting here with a hot honey and lemon, vit c and tissues :(
I've woken up full of cold and a sore throat. I really want to fight this so i can go out tommorrow night - please send me get well vibes!!

xx

Hi Lissylou,

That bag is really pretty. Maybe you could swap the handles on the bag. Make some fabric ones?

Hello, I found you through Victoria Plums blog. I love that bag, I too hate chain handles. I will have to have a look for one at the weekend and maybe change the handles for webbing and just knot it (I'm lazy) Have a lovely weekend x

That is such a lovely story about your grandparents, thank you for telling me, how weird about the camera, I believe that there are spirits too.
I hope you feel much better soon, have a great weekend x

I will have a peek at Store Twenty One, it sounds interesting. I like seeing Cath alikes, preferably the cheaper ones. Her stuff is gorgeous, but a bit expensive for me.

Thought you'd got a new CK bag for a moment there!! I know what you mean about chain handles - they get caught on all sorts of things! I hope your cold disappears and you have a great weekend. Helen x

I have that very same puzzle, it was my mum's when she was little. It's lasted really well, but is a pain to store as all the bits fall out so easily! Am tempted to blu-tack them in and then frame it - what do you think?
