It's Easter!!

Happy Easter!!We have had such a lovely few days.
Join us on our Easter hunt:

As i do every Easter, i sit down to watch 'Easter Parade'. My eldest enjoyed it to, especially the toyshop scene.
The postman delivered this beautiful brooch yesterday that i ordered from LittleGem. I love it Gemma, thank you.
I went to a spring fair with my Mum on Saturday and picked up these lovely pictures for £3!! I have put them on my dolls house next to the lovely angel i got from Cottontailsbaby.
We went into Leigh for an Easter hunt in the beautiful library gardens.

It was lovely, and we were lucky that it stayed dry, as it had poured down earlier in the day.
My hubby did really well and got me this lovely tray and card. And a lovely card from my boys. My eldest said he chose it because i love bunnies and daisies, sweet.
Now, to today. This morning we went to the Easter service at church and then drove up to Layer Marney Tower, which was absolutley delightful.
Spot my sons plane in the picture!

The littlest picking daisies.
They made Easter lovely for the little ones, There was a quiz, an easter hunt for the under 3's and an egg and spoon race for the over 3's.
And we got to feed the lambs.

Near closing time, we had the barn to ourselves. The boys played on the piano!! The lambs must like it!?!
And i had such a treat. The men let us take a lamb out of the pen to have a cuddle with. I was thrilled as they are my favourite animals. These ones were only 4 days old.
It is such a lovely place and the weather was lovely. I would probably only go there though if there was an event on.

I hope you have all had a lovely Easter.

Magazine loveliness

Make sure you buy next months Easy Living for some free CK loveliness I love this cossie, abit out of my price range though. And what a great book, Perfect for Mrs Thrifty don't you think!?!
What a great idea this is. I may hunt out a few cheap figurines at carboots and give it a go. I think it would only look good like this, as a collection.
I love this dress from Coast. I bought a beautiful dress from there in the January sales. I'm not sure when i'll wear it as it's very dressy, but i love it.

I want to live in this house!!! (Pictures from Period Living)
What a beautiful dresser.
I love these rooms.
I got the EB catalogue through yesterday. I have put the happiness teatowel (top left) and the Truly Great teatowel on my birthday list.

Have a good weekend ladies. We will hopefully be going for a bikeride by the sea tommorrow if the weather stays nice.

Please take one!

Chocolate cakes came out top in my recent poll, so we decided to make some after school today. It was the first time the little one had made cakes. He did really well, but as you can imagine, loved licking the bowl afterwards!!
I popped into Southend today. I wanted to go to Primark to get a cheap cossie. I don't swim in public pools - i know that may sound terribly snobby, but i just can't get over the dirtiness of it!! However, my mum has asked me as her guest on a pamper day here. So i thought i better get one just incase. I also picked up these flipflops for £2!!! and this large flight bag for £6!!!

Very CK don't you think? It was only £3.50. It's a good size and has a great mirror in the top bit that stands up. Great i think, seeing as i always forget a hand mirror when i go away.

Finally my luck has carried on this week as i have won a giveaway!!! Thank you Knitty, Vintage and Rosy.
Thank you all for you well wishes to me and my Grandad.

Lucky days!!

I have had such a few lovely lucky days!! I recieved this beautiful Maileg Little Angel Princess doll from the lovely Charlotte at Cottontails baby. Thank you so much Charlotte, we are going to call her Fairy Cottontails. She has pride of place on my dollshouse in the dining room. I called into Sainsburys yesterday. I needed some summer pj's for the boys and managed to get this gorgeous pair.
How cute are these swimming shorts for the littlest?? He'll wear them as normal shorts too with white tees.

And of course i couldn't resist getting myself a Tink bag for shopping, from Asda.
After a wonderful shopping day with my mum on monday i opened up my emails to find out i had won a years subscription to Period Living magazine!!!! i'm so excited!!
Today is wonderfully sunny, i'm hoping my luck carries on as i have a hospital appointment this afternoon to see if my heart condition has changed. Fingers crossed, it will be ok!!
Update on my Grandad: I saw him at the weekend, he looked so small and old. He is so confused bless him. I hope my boys cheered him up. He moves into a home tommorrow. I'm going to get my mum to leave him a photo of the boys and a note for when he arrives.
Have a good week girlies, enjoy the sunshine if it lasts.
